DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
  • Our client is searching for an accomplished Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Lead to play a critical part in facilitating their marketing automation programs. This role will be focused on overseeing the technical component of marketing campaigns and journeys, ensuring seamless execution, optimization, and integration with different systems. Our client is looking for someone with a deep understanding of marketing automation platforms, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and a demonstrated track record of implementing successful marketing automation initiatives.
     
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and optimize complex marketing campaigns and customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of campaigns, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Spearhead the configuration, customization, and administration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to support marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee data synchronization and integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems.
  • Proactively determine and resolve technical issues related to marketing automation processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and marketing, to troubleshoot and address system integration challenges.
  • Implement best practices for data management, ensuring data quality and integrity within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Create and maintain documentation for marketing automation processes, configurations, and integrations.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on analytics.
     
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of experience in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Marketing Cloud Technical Lead.
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and strong hands-on experience with its configuration and administration.
  • Experience working with all Marketing Cloud Builders and Studios, including Mobile Connect and Personalization Builder for Emails
  • Established experience in developing responsive email templates with thorough knowledge of AMPScripts and front-end development building Cloud Pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPScripts.
  • Experience implementing automated solutions utilizing Marketing Cloud Server-Side Java Script (SSJS).
  • Superb SQL skills and robust understanding of Marketing Cloud’s contact data model.
  • Experience utilizing Journey Builder with thorough understanding of Audience Builder configuration.
  • Ability to uncover requirements and translate to technical solutions that can scale across multiple business units.
  • Experience with web service integration (REST/SOAP).
  • Thorough understanding of marketing automation best practices, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Skilled in data management and integration between marketing automation platforms and other systems.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and superb interpersonal capabilities with the skill to understand and convey technical information to an audience of varying skill levels.
  • Able to work on a team, in person, and in a collaborative virtual setting.
  • Experience working in agile development environment using scrum framework and related tools and processes.
