DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
  • Humana is seeking a Product Owner – Salesforce Marketing Cloud, who will deliver journey, cloud page, automation and data extension capability to a diverse set of Humana teams and brands. The Product Owner will manage a backlog of documented business requirements, engage a development team to prioritize and deliver the work through the Agile process, on time and with quality.
  • The Product Owner must be able to understand the consumer experience that fulfills the Humana brand promise, define the marketing platform capabilities necessary to deliver a personalized experience reliably and efficiently, and manage the development of those features for users across the enterprise. The right candidate will make data-driven decisions, be an effective communicator, have an eye for details and display a consistent work-ethic.
  • This role will be focused on the product ownership of Salesforce Marketing Cloud features. The role will have strong partnership with counterparts in the Data, Integrations, Marketing Operations and Content teams to ensure modern and scaled usage of Humana’s investments in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • The Product Owner will be part of the Marketing Technology platform team focused on the long-term success of Humana’s marketing and communication tools.
     
  • Responsibilities
  • Requirements Development: Collaborates with Product Manager, business and IT stakeholders to document requirements. Implements product maintenance and enhancements according to PI plan. Implements new features and processes to make the product more user friendly. Uses product data to implement efficiencies.
  • Product Development: Ensures development and implementation of features and user stories are occurring appropriately. Documents high level processes/procedures for products and updates. Attends daily stand up (with dev team). Attends/facilitates grooming session. Attends bi-weekly sprint planning session. Attends quarterly PI planning. Facilitates story estimation. Implements objectives through the PI. Implements features according to Product Manager’s vision and product roadmap. Creates user stories.
  • Product Maintenance/User Support: Provision user licenses, records proof of training and knowledge transfer completed and facilitates license activation. Proactively manage user groups and roles using periodic user review and deactivation. Defect resolution and support. Provision cost components (BUs, SSLs, short codes, etc.).
  • Product Governance: Implement best practices and governance rules in the product.
  • Quality Assurance: Answers questions during SIT/UAT. Coordinates User Acceptance Testing. Performs User Acceptance Testing. Responsible for creation of test cases for UAT as needed. Test planning. Coordinates Post Production Validation Testing. Performs Post Production Validation.
  • Product Security: Provisions users and security access. Implements security recommendations. Perform audits of business functions for security compliance.
  • Platform Subject Matter Expert: Is an expert at understanding how all of the parts of the Marketing and Communication Platform fit together and the key capability that they provide to the organization.
  • Market Knowledge: Ensures our marketing and communication channels are modern and up-to-date, capable of efficiently delivering excellent communications to all customer types, and ensuring that vendor partners are delivering as needed.
     
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience implementing and/or managing daily operations for Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience implementing cloud pages
  • Experience with journey build, contact model, automation including SQL queries, SSJS scripts, extracts, data extension build and usage
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle specific to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Connector and Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
     
  • Certifications required:
  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
  • Marketing Cloud Consultant (or Functional Consultant)
  • Marketing Cloud Developer
  • Marketing Cloud Administrator
