- Have been utilizing an external consulting firm to build out their salesforce capabilities but it is costing them way to much so they want to bring this in house
- Marketing Cloud Administrator certification and Marketing Cloud Specialist certification are required
- Job Description
- The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator develops and implements integrated marketing automation solutions utilizing the Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, while also supporting other Enterprise applications.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Majority of duties performed, but not to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned)
- Develops solutions within the Salesforce or CRM platform to meet stakeholder requirements and business objectives for existing and new functionality.
- Manage full-cycle email marketing campaigns withing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
- Design and optimize customer journeys and marketing automation workflows within Journey Builder, enhancing engagement and driving customer conversations.
- Works with internal and external resources to develop in depth functional specifications for interfaces and system enhancements. Participates in sprint planning, sprint reviews, scrum meetings, and other agile activities.
- Identifies technical/architectural complexities that may affect platform design or performance and performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.
- Supports web administrators, QA/UAT, and developers through the full development lifecycle and ensures functionality is relevant to current business and operational environment.
- Works with Business Development, Program Delivery, Customer Care and other internal stakeholders to design, develop, test and deploy solutions including dashboards, interfaces, and integrations.
- Engages internal customers on product utilization and training. Acts as a liaison between users and developers to ensure product adaptation and issue clarification.
- Plan and manage end-to-end test execution for applications ensuring testing deliverables are on target and business, technical, and functional requirements are being met.
- Ensures test plans and results are auditable and meet regulatory, utility partner, and quality assurance standards.
- Conducts root cause analysis of identified defects, providing project manager with sufficient detail to understand, replicate and resolve.
- Develops and manages the execution of comprehensive projects while controlling and supervising resources, schedules, costs, risk, quality, scope, and changes.
- Acts as a change champion and proactively identifies new products, trends, and technical capabilities.
- Maintains a log of detected defects and change requests. Investigates defects and proactively solves issues.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS (Experience, education, knowledge, skills & abilities required for competent performance in the job)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Programming, Computer Science or any related field required
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator and or Specialist required
- 5 to 10 or more years of relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud technical experience
- Experience with software tools Email Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, Web Studio, Social Studio, and Automation Process required
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven training in Business Process Modeling
- Comfortable in an agile environment of rapid iteration
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to comprehend complex technical requirements
- Possess strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills with a deep understanding of the value in storytelling
- Excel in a cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc)
