DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
  • Corebridge is looking for a Marketing Automation expert to support its three product lines on a contract basis. The candidate will assist the Marketing Automation leadership with architecting solutions and provide technical support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team, can follow instructions without skipping steps, and isn’t afraid to ask questions or for help when needed.
  • Key Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
  • Consult with internal business teams (customers) to uncover business requirements, develop a technical strategy, and effectively create technical solutions from customer requirements.
  • Develop cloud pages from scratch to process data and submit data to SFMC / SFDC using SSJS and API calls.
  • Develop emails with Ampscript and dynamic content matrixes.
  • Build complex journeys and automations with SFMC.
  • Build reports with SFMC and/or Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI).
  • Comprehend, Interpret, and support complex front-end technical and operational environments.
  • Partner with Data Architecture, Marketing, Operations, Creative, and Communication teams to adopt best practices and align technologies with business use cases.
  • Collaborate and act as a liaison between external vendors and internal teams to facilitate program execution, project, and task management.
  • Create, troubleshoot, and execute on data extensions, subscriber imports, and group creation based on data filters.
     
  • Job Requirements
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget)
  • Proven experience using SFMC marketing cloud components and how they interact & integrate with each other: Email Studio, Mobile Studio (SMS), Advertising, Web Studio, Personalization, Analytics Builder, Journey Builder, Content Builder, and Contact Builder.
  • Marketing, project management, business case, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation experience
  • 10+ years of email marketing experience as a primary focus.
  • 8+ years of email analytics experience and must understand how metrics are derived, how they relate to, and impact marketing efforts.
  • Knowledge of email best practices, CAN-SPAM & CCPA laws, and deliverability improvement/maintenance.
  • Solid technical background with a general understanding of related MarTech technologies (i.e., site analytics, CMS, Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI), site tagging, optimization platforms, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SFMC SQL and Standard SQL (Snowflake).
  • Fluency in Ampscript, SSJS, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Strong understanding of UTMs and tracking campaigns of a customer journey.
  • Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Exposure to integrations, developing & executing data migrations.
  • Baseline understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud or how CRMs work generally and of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector (MCC).
     
  • Preferred, but not required:
  • Knowledge of the Aprimo Project Management Software
  • Experience with Email on Acid or other email testing software
  • Microsoft Excel data manipulation (Vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Attribution Models / Data Analytics
  • Financial Services, specifically Annuity Products, Life Insurance, and Group Retirement
  • B2B and B2C distribution models
  • Understanding the corporate and bulk email environments is a plus, including spam software, Sender Authentication Package (SFMC), SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
