DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS
  • Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, exceptional development skills, and a passion for creating innovative marketing solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing automation strategies to drive business growth and enhance customer engagement.
     
  • Years of experience needed: Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including hands-on development and implementation. Proven track record of delivering complex marketing automation solutions.
     
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Proficiency:
  • Journey Builder: Design and implement automated customer journeys.
  • Email Studio: Create and manage email campaigns.
  • Mobile Studio: Implement mobile messaging and push notifications.
  • Automation Studio: Implement complex workflows that automate marketing and data management tasks based on criteria configured.
  • Advertising Studio: Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns.
  • CloudPages and Content Builder: Develop landing pages and dynamic content.
     
  • Integration Expertise:
  • APIs and Middleware: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools to connect Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP).
  • Data Integration: Knowledge of data synchronization and ETL processes.
  • Data Management:
  • Data Extensions: Design and manage data extensions and segmentation.
  • SQL: Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data within Marketing Cloud.
  • AMPscript & SSJS: Ability to use AMPscript or Platform object Server-Side JavaScript functions in email messages and reserve using Core library server-side JavaScript to landing pages, dynamic content personalization and applications.
     
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging:
  • Issue Resolution: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to Marketing Cloud implementations and integrations.
  • Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing performance and troubleshooting inefficiencies.
  • Responsibilities:
     
  • Development & Implementation:
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Audience Builder.
  • Write and maintain complex SQL queries, AMPscript, and JavaScript to support marketing automation and data integration.
  • Create and manage data extensions, import and export activities, and integrate with external systems using APIs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, IT, and Sales to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
  • Solution Design:
  • Collaborate with Technical Architect to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Develop and document architecture and design for marketing automation solutions.
  • Optimize existing processes and solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting:
  • Perform rigorous testing of marketing solutions to ensure functionality, accuracy, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to marketing automation and data integration.
     
  • Documentation & Training:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for development processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams on SFMC functionalities and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and industry trends.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and automation processes.
     
  • Qualifications:
    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Certifications:
      • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator
      • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
      • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
    • Soft Skills:
      • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
